Catch a Pocket Bishoujo :: Catch a Pocket Bishónen The Glacier Gym Logistics Team 14 Bishoujo, 4 Bishounen Ruthless, evil, demonic... my kind of gal! I've only seen Lady Devimon in action once, but it was memorable. Her chief opponent is Angewomon; I'd love to see that cat-fight from first season. Rrowr. I much prefer her in her "human" form, but either way, Arukenimon is one stylish spider. Her hair can turn control spires into monsters, her flute can charm the good out of digimon, and her silky voice can send a chill up a spine. Not too shabby for the comic relief. This little girl has an elaborate plan... and it just might work against the Masakis and their friends. Yugi is a complex character who loves her friend Sasami but clings to her power. Her cruelty is like that of a child's... which makes her all the more ominous. Ah, Para Para, she of the powder blue hair and the unicycle. She's the most childlike of the Amazon Quartet-- and the most vicious! I just about fell out of my chair when she ripped that doll head off. Nothing wrong with that... she just wants to play... isn't she a nice little girl? Zoicite's a guy! A **guy**, okay? Bloody DiC heads. And for once, an openly yaoi bishounen. He used to be a knight in Darien/Endymion's court, according to certain sources. He's passionate about his work, and his love. One of many Sailor Moon villains who come to tragic ends, his is one of the more moving tales. ::sigh:: See above. Fisheye is an openly gay bishounen, and always taking on the male targets when they come up. He acts so effeminate that I'm not too sure any of the characters notice he's a guy. He's not just another throwaway villain... his crisis of conscience upon befriending Usagi was just too touching. Sitting in the rain, wondering why they had no beautiful dreams... one of my favorite Sailor Moon moments. This chick has Grrrrlpower! Buttercup, who gets the electric guitar solo in the intro, who'd rather play rough than play with dolls, is my favorite Powerpuff. When she crosses her arms and scowls, evil-doers beware! She's always ready to kick butt. Ah, Bubbles. The kind, sweet and gentle Powerpuff. She *is* really really nice. Until you get her mad. And then you get the high-pitched shriek, the powerful punch, and I swear there's a vein twitching. So don't pull this girl's pigtails. My favorite Powerpuff episode ever is when she had amnesia and thought she was Mojo Jojo: "Prepare to meet your maker!" "You leave the Professor out of this!" She wormed her way into Trowa's world, getting him to trust her. And destroyed it with a gift. Midii is one of the forgotten characters from the backstories of Gundam Wing, and little is known about her. How she shaped Trowa's view of the world, his view of women, and his trust in his friends... all as mysterious as the boy she betrayed. (Those are two manga panels of her in the catch image; she's also my 40th Bishoujo catch!) A schoolgirl on the track team with a gift of prophecy, Hitomi never expected to be whisked away to Gaia, land of dragons, guymelefs, knights, and a young king named Van Fanel. It's true that she spends most of the series falling in and out and in love, but her role is that of direction. Like her pendant, fashioned from a dragon's heart, she unconsciously points to the future... Chibi-Heero! I mean, um... heh heh. Li is so intense, you forget he's just a little tough guy. How a boy can wear a bright costume with tassles and still maintain his dignity is beyond me. But Li does it. He's got female stalker problems too, but like Heero, he's got a BIG sword to help him out. Click here to see both pictures of Li. My 80th Bishoujo catch! The best capture I never saw. The Light and Dark Cards were captured together. I simply love their dual design. They also told Sakura that the Clow Cards wanted her to be their master. And to watch out for Yue... Whenever I think of the Power Card, I think of flying elephants and an upside-down penguin slide. The Power has something to prove! She's pretty tough for a little pink munchkin. I haven't actually seen this card in action. She's an eerie thing, though. Chibi-Crawford! Hee, fancy that. A transfer student from England, Eriol immediately gives off strange vibes. But as Sakura gets friendly and Syaoran gets jealous, neither suspect his true role in the unusual magical events threatening the new protectors of the Clow Cards... An early capture for Sakura, the Silent Card lodged itself in a painting in a quiet museum. Rather creepily, if there was ever too much noise nearby, it would bend time and space and deposit people away from itself. Like an ethereal librarian. One of my favorite uses for the Shadow Card. Watery, one of the elemental cards, was probably the most dangerous and complicated capture Sakura had to make. It's like an evil selkie, drowning anything that gets too near, challenging the card captor. It was so dangerous it almost got Yue to show his hand early... Mirror is one of my favorite cards. Sakura had to guess its name to get it into its true form. The Mirror Card is patterned after Amaterasu, the great Japanese goddess whose mirror is one of the three sacred jewels of the Imperial Family. The best moment is when Mirror Card floated over and kissed Touya's brow in apology. It's my 170th catch! Glacier Gym. Trainer, Ruki (Digimon Queen).
